SSC CGL Tier-I 2017 Exam Analysis Shift-2 [4:15-5:15]

So, Now its time for 2nd Shift Exam Review i.e. 4:15-5:15. The Exam will be conducted by SSC from 5th August to 24th August 2017.We are providing Exam analysis of SSC CGL Tier-1 2017 Shift-1, so that all other aspirants can get an overall and clear idea about exam pattern and difficulty level. The SSC CGL Tier-1 2017 is being held in online mode. So dear students, without much ado, let's get straight to the detailed  Exam analysis.

Last year the Exam duration was 75 minutes but this time the Exam duration is 60 minutes. 
The important dates for SSC CGL 2017 are:

SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam: 5th Aug to 24th Aug 2017 

SSC CGL Tier-2 Exam :      10th-11th November 2017

SSC CGL Tier-3 Exam: 21st January 2018

Skill Test/Computer Skill Test: February 2018



English Language

In SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam 2017, English language section was Moderate-Difficult. Spelling check questions were not that easy although the words are very common. Parajumbled questions were also asked.  This time there were no RC(Reading Comprehension) instead there were 1 Cloze Test with 5 questions based on it and questions from it were of moderate level.

Quantitative Aptitude

In SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam 2017, Quantitative Aptitude was of Moderate Level. Most of the questions were based directly on Formulas and some were calculative.

General Intelligence

In SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam 2017, General Intelligence(Reasoning) questions were of Easy level.

General Awareness

In SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam 2017, General Awareness questions were asked from Current Affairs(3-4 questions). From Science section, if you have basic knowledge of Science, then you can easily score good marks in GA Section.

Vijender beats Zulpikar to win WBO Oriental Super Middleweight title

Indian professional boxer  Vijender Singh  outslugged his Chinese opponent  Zulpikar Maimaitiali  to retain the WBO Asia Pacific Super Middleweight title and win the  WBO Oriental Super Middleweight title.  In the pro boxing bout, termed as 'Battleground Asia',  at Mumbai,  Vijender recorded a unanimous decision win over his Chinese opponent and continued his undefeated streak. It was  Beijing Olympic  bronze medallist's ninth successive win in his professional career.

Venkaiah Naidu Is New Vice President of India

Venkaiah Naidu  is going to succeed  Hamid Ansari  as the new Vice-President of India. Naidu’s victory was a foregone conclusion, the NDA candidate having the support of a majority of MPs who ally with the BJP. The  Election Commission said that 771  votes were polled, of which 760 were valid and 11 were valid. Venkaiah Naidu secured 516 and Gopalkrishna Gandhi 241 votes.
